Rabbi Heshy Blumstein has been with us since 1999. Prior to the Young Israel of Hewlett, Rabbi Blumstein was the Assistant Rabbi at the Young Israel of Bedford Bay and Madison in Brooklyn, NY, and Rabbi of Young Israel of Redwood in Brooklyn. Rabbi Blumstein is also currently Director for the JEC executive learning program and is affiliated with the Ohel Children's Home- Bais Ezra Home for Young Adults. Rabbi Blumstein received his Smicha from Yeshivat ITRI and an Advanced Certificate in Rabbinics from Touro College.

 

The Rabbi and his wife, Rebbetzin Mimi Blumstein are the proud parents of their 11 children.
